How Aerial Photography can Boost Property Sales

When it comes to selling houses, traditional photography might not always be your best option. With thousands of new properties being added to Rightmove every single day, it’s important to have listings that stand out from the crowd.

Aerial photos are an easy way to ensure a property has the best chance of being seen by buyers, while also pegging you as an agent that goes the extra mile for their clients.

Here are just a few of the ways that aerial photography can help boost your sales.

How does it work?

At CJ Property Marketing, our aerial photography is achieved through the use of both a portable mast and a drone, allowing us to tailor our approach to each property and perfectly capture its key features.

A camera is mounted to the 35 foot mast and elevated to the desired height, leaving our skilled photographers to view the frame and capture images from the ground.

For sprawling properties that require an even higher vantage point, we use a drone that can fly as high as 400 feet while taking photos with the click of a button. This method allows us to photograph larger areas while showcasing the property to its fullest potential.

Why aerial photography?

From an aesthetic point of view, the benefits are obvious. Put simply, shooting from a higher perspective can make the difference between a good photo and an outstanding one.

Aerial photography not only gives potential buyers a better idea of the size and scale of the property, but can also give a better overall impression of its features and even the surrounding area.

Many buyers value spacious gardens and quality landscaping, which can be easily captured through the use of aerial photography without having to use multiple images.

Likewise, aerial photographs show off the location of the property in a way that is just not possible when taking photos from the ground. With location being a vital selling point for almost any property, allowing prospective buyers to get a sense of the surrounding area can be an excellent way to help drive viewings and, ultimately, sales.
